New York Congressman Hakeem Jeffries and New Jersey Senator Cory Booker are holding a livestreamed sit-in protest and discussion on Sunday from the steps of the U.S. Capitol.

Some want to blame Democratic Party leadership; I don't know. Maybe they are right but I think it is the voters who have failed. We let the Republicans off the hook after Jan. 6 and we should have been in the streets demanding that Trump go to prison for that insurrection. We only have ourselves to blame. I feel shame for not doing more.
