When reports emerged that Secretary of Housing and Urban Development Ben Carson's office had ordered a $31,000 dining room table set with taxpayer funds, Tenney blamed the "deep state" for the expenditure, adding, "I know that Ben Carson did not order that table. It has nothing to do with him. He comes from, you know, poverty."

The day he dies will be a world holiday

All this fawning reminds me of the sort state of the Roman Senate in say, the time of Tiberius.

Self-humiliation only only saved them for a while.

There was a time when I couldn't imagine that Americans would deliberately abase themselves into being such peons.

I console myself by remembering that MAGA aren't Americans.

We could commission a one-hundred foot colossus of Donald to tower over the national mall, like for the Emperor Constantine.

Since I brought it up, it's only a matter of time before some cowering MAGA proposes this seriously.

Hitler's birthday was celebrated as a national holiday in Germany in 1939.
By the same kind of people who want to celebrate this slob's.

As it seems his name is on the tips of everyone' tongue these days, how many will experience the revelation that the "T" is silent?

Why stop there?

I think we should restructure the calendar so Trump's birthday starts the new year.

We can name the months after his kids, wives, mistresses that became his wives and those who didn't as well!

You mean to say that grocery prices did not drop on January 20,2025, a.k.a. Day One?

I don't think anything he said was going to happen on Day One ever happened on Day One. If ever.

Well, Pres Trump did say he would be a dictator on Day One.

He does appear to be working to continuing that past Day One.

Lyrics excerpt ...

...
The time must surely come
For the laws to fit the times
The time must surely come
For the laws to fit the times
But while the law is standing
You've got to open up your minds

It seems to be the fashion
To say you're right and they are wrong
It seems to be the fashion
To say you're right and they are wrong
But if you don't see both sides
You'll find yourself in jail 'fore long

You're screaming at policemen
But they're only doing a gig
You're screaming at policemen
But they're only doing a gig
Try and take the time
To figure out how the issue got that big
...

None. Because he's just a figurehead.

Ironically, this administration will be more "deep state" than any before it as Trump lives his final days golfing his s*&^ty courses while his inner circle pilfers the country and Vance sets himself up to be the heir apparent.

Do these fucking clowns have anything 'important' to bring before congress besides their loco bills praising that fat orange lying grifting daughter lusting raping traitor clown? Good gawd they all seem so desperate as they go down onto their knees over and over and service a pig that would not waste his spit on them if they were on fire. I long for his last day when they GOP will be rudderless. It's like he is baby Jesus or something and they are the Kings bringing him gifts or something. How fucking embarrassing these nuts.

All I can think to say is that some people have no problem with personal humiliation.

#27 | Posted by Zed at 2025-02-20 06:39 PM

It's brainwashing.

That's why Republicans passed legislation forcing auto manufacturers to continue installing tuners in cars. They need people in rural communities to constantly listen to AM talk hate radio.

That's also why republicans voted against legislation to increase broadband Internet access to rural areas. Can't have their sheep getting news from other sources, they may learn Republicans have been lying to them.
