Was this for listeners between 2-3 AM? I listen to the progressive channel on Sirius sometimes in the afternoon and the lies are just rampid. They even said that CNN wouldn't cover the protests on Monday because CNN was too pro Trump.

And just an fyi, according to Spotify and you tube Rogan is #1. The Newsweek ranking was based on a poll. I'll go with the subscribers data.

Now you're just taking all of the fun out of it.

I've listened to exactly one podcast of anybody. It was a Joe Rogan show from 1996, I think, that my son played for me on a long drive in October. The show was from a long time ago, I know that.

Nothing against Joe Rogan or podcasts, and I understand their influence, but I don't commute, I don't run, I don't do much solitary other than work, which is perpetual, and I can't listen to anything with lyrics. I don't watch TV. Why the hell am I going to listen to a bunch of idiots yap over each other and try to sound smarter or well informed than everyone?

I got the DR for that.

One of the dumber things Harris did during her campaign was refusing to go on Rogan's show.

It's something both Hillary and Harris had in common. This image of them being too elite to actually care about the regular American.

It's all optics.

Trump literally couldn't give a shht about anybody other than himself, maybe his daughter.

But the Republican Party had him serving McDonald's to people, he was on podcasts, he went on shows. He sold himself as a regular American.

(even though in reality, both Hillary and Kamala are working-class Americans who got to where they are through hard work and dedication. Whereas Trump spent his whole life shhting in golden toilets and living in ivory Towers.)

Republicans timing again prove they're better at controlling the narrative.

A much dumber version I might add.

I agree.

But I would expand that to say something along the lines of ...

~One of the dumber things Democrats do is avoid the right-wing media~

I see lots of GOP and MAGA on the ~main-stream media~ that the GOP and MAGA seem to rail against.

But the GOP and MAGA still seem to show up on MSM for interviews and discussions (yes, discussions, and good ones, I might add).

So, when are Democrats going to start showing up regularly on, e.g. Fox News?

A "Stealth Rush Limbaugh" NEVER would have endorsed Bernie Sanders under any circumstance.

#13 | Posted by BellRinger at 2025-02-20 10:41 PM

He endorsed Trump.

Nuff said.

#14 | Posted by Alexandrite at 2025-02-21 12:56 AM

@#14 ... Nuff said. ...

imo, not really.

I'll ask again, why don't I see Democrats on the right-wing news media. I have to be specific, I'd say Fox News.

Why don't I see Democrats on Fox News?

Are the Democrats so afraid of justifying their opinions and views that they are afraid of a critical interview?

imo, the Democrats should be all over the Fox News shows, telling the American public what they want to do for them.

But, for some odd reason, the Democrats seem to be scared of doing that.

Why?

Last minute with some trepidation. But yeah, Harris is so awesome I don't know how she didn't win with 80% of the vote.

Literally no one thought Trump was/is a "regular American"

The McDonald's skit was a massive troll to bring light to Kamala's lies that she was a "regular American" who once worked at McDonald's. Too bad she couldn't verify it - no one could.

Trump went on podcasts because of the coverage they get. It's all marketing and the DNC didn't have a decent candidate, or the ability to see how the world is rapidly changing. It's called losing, and you might want to get used to it if your party doesn't start listening to "regular Americans"

#17 | Posted by lfthndthrds

Sure, but the "regular Americans" he sells to all want to be like him: Whorish trophy wife, money fall out the sky, no one tells him what to do, gold-plated toilets (I can guarantee you Trump is trying to liberate a gold bar from Fort Knox as a symbol of his power).

And the "regular Americans" are dumb enough to think that voting for Trump associates their pathetic lives with his pathetic life.

Before I get jumped on for that statement, most of humanity lives pathetic lives. How they/we deal with it is another story.

Sounds to me like you view your own life as pathetic, and misery loves company.

#19 | Posted by lfthndthrds at 2025-02-21 12:25 PM

19. Hardly. With a twist or turn, I'm rather content with how my life's turned out.

But I'll stand by my statement. Read a book once in a while.

And, yes, life is pathetic. Even nice ones. I'm not talking about you or me.

If you're one of the fake Christians around here, are you waiting for heaven?

Why?

#20 | Posted by Dbt2 at 2025-02-21 01:11 PM

are you waiting for heaven?

Why?

#20 | POSTED BY DBT2

Often wondered that myself. If heaven is so great why wait?

As for "pathetic lives" .. There is no way to go thru life without experiencing suffering. Suffering is a part of life. Especially the last part.

So.. like I always say.. Be well or suffer well!
