Bloomberg was able to dig deeper into the records of the 238 migrants that the U.S. sent to infamously dangerous prison in El Salvador and found that about 90 percent have no criminal record. Trump administration said the 238 men were the worst of the worst.
Trump officials have described the men deported to El Salvador prisons as "the worst of the worst." The reality is that of 238 migrants accused of belonging to the Tren de Aragua gang, just a small fraction had ever been charged with serious crimes
