In Chester, NY, John J. Reilly III (48) shot a Door Dash delivery driver (age 24) who knocked on his door after getting lost. Reilly told the victim to get off his property, before firing multiple shots at the victim as he attempted to leave in his vehicle, striking the victim once in the back, causing serious physical injuries. Reilly is the Town of Chester Highway Superintendent and a federally licensed firearms dealer (FFL). In an average year, 870 people die and 2,607 are wounded by guns in New York. Throughout the US, every eleven minutes someone is murdered with a firearm. This deliveryman is lucky to be alive after being shot in the back by this lunatic.
#20: Hi Redial: I have driven through this area and street lighting is insufficient to read signs at night. Here's a video of the poor delivery guy before he was almost murdered: twitter.com
John J. Reilly III's home and property look pretty opulent in other video. The schmuck threw away a well-paying job and what appears to be an illicit gun business. See comment #15 above.
