President again disparages allies and tells Fox News he is 'not sure' Nato would come to US's defence

Trump claims NATO has never been there for the US. Can anyone think of an example of NATO being there for the US? Maybe around 24 years ago? Bueller? Bueller?

Check out WW1 and WW2 casualties and timelines if you want them as a measure to identify a country that came very late to the conflict.

For perspective's sake, Google "Trump family military service."

The US got off light in WWI. COVID was almost as deadly. Approximately 45,000 American soldiers died from influenza and related pneumonia, whereas combat deaths totaled about 53,402. BTW: Of all the Allied and Central Powers, the UK suffered the least amount of COVID deaths.

The Confederate Army killed more US soldiers than the Kaiser's legions.

We lost a bit more than the British in WWII, but not like the Russians, Germans, or Japanese.

BTW: I just received Virginia Guiffre's book Nobody's Girl.

Why should he hold foreign troops who died in defense of the U.S. in higher esteem?

No, I don't really think that Trump thinks that he will die.

I think that he thinks that he's too special to die.

When he moans about mortality, as he does sometimes, it's not because he thinks that he will croak.

It's just another way he has of demanding attention.
