Germany was accused of a "flagrant abuse of intelligence" after revealing that British soldiers are supporting Ukrainian forces launching long-range Storm Shadow missiles. Olaf Scholz said on Monday that he would not deliver the Taurus, Berlin's equivalent of the Storm Shadow, as it would require soldiers assisting on the ground, citing the UK and French approach with their own systems. Mr Scholz argued that following the UK would make Germany a "participant in the war". The comments were seen as endangering British military and diplomatic personnel on the ground.

Pres Putin has stated that NATO's troops in a sovereign Ukraine would be an escalation.

But Pres Putin seems to be OK with Russian troops in a sovereign Ukraine.

Was Pres Putin's statement actually a misstatement on his part? (for the record, I doubt it.)

Or does he view, as he has said in the past, that Ukraine should not exist and that it is really a part of Russia?

Germany still hedging their bets after appeasement failed.

You don't have to send troops. You send MBDA Missile Systems civilian technicians and instructors that teach the ground handling, weapon system programming, and platform integration.

They're trying to integrate modern weapons onto ------- commie aircraft. Commies don't use the 1760 data bus, which means that normal western integration is not possible. Which means that even the bestest patch-wearing fighter pilot would have no idea on how to employ a western weapon off of a commie aircraft. Which means that it would be (almost certainly) civilians who are on the ground in UKR enabling integration.

Communism ended in Russia 30 years ago.

Are you this out of touch with the modern world about everything else?

That could be a problem for military readiness if you're representative of the modern soldier.

I suggest a little more reading and less drinking.

Shhh, let them do their military virtue signal routine with each other so they can feel that they aren't socially obsolete. Other than Jack and Meth, its all they really have left.

"That could be a problem for military readiness if you're representative of the modern soldier."

Thank you, sir, for your sage advice.

However, I think I will drink more and giggle more as more and more ships become reefs in the Black Sea.

It's ------- pathetic. Your handler is a clown. And you're a cuck.

I really hope you don't have a wife.

Su-24s have been shooting Storm Shadows for awhile now. They retrofitted Panavia Tornado pylons. They don't need a data bus because the missiles are programmed on the ground. There's no reprogramming in flight, but it's good enough.

I'm not sure what they are going to do with them. I suppose it does make JDAM employment a bit easier.
