The proposal incorporates several bills "designed to advance the cause of life," including the "Life at Conception Act" which provides legal protection "at all stages of life, including the moment of fertilization."

So, they're going to give child tax credits to frozen embryos? If so, I am going to freeze a few dozen of them.

However, nothing in this Act shall be construed to authorize the prosecution of any woman for the death of her unborn child.

Profiles in courage, GQP edition.

This is where gasbageberly demands someone enumerate all the changes the GOP wants to make as if the GOP didn't just say what those changes are

Then claim no "serious" member of the GOP wants to do what they just said they want to do

"The GOP proposal also supports making Medicare a "premium support model", such that private plans could compete with Medicare."

That was the Romney/Ryan plan.

It saves money by giving people vouchers which covered only about half the cost of the services they receive under Medicare. Leaving them on the hook for the other half.

The real savings comes when the vouchers don't even get used, because people can't afford the other half.

Just another opportunity for Eberly to deny Republicans are trying to kill Medicare.

"However, nothing in this Act shall be construed to authorize the prosecution of any woman for the death of her unborn child"----Or to actively prohibit someone from doing that. What slimeballs.

"Life at Conception"

^
Eberly votes for the moderate Republicans who say Life begins at Conception.
Not for those extreme Republicans who say Life begins at Conception.

How about a cut to the military? Did it stop 9/11? Did it stop people from attaching boats in the red sea? Did it stop russia from taking Ukraine? War is endless and stupid.

War is endless and stupid....but profitable for the people who give money to people who vote to spend money on war.

But it is easy to scare the sheep into voting for the ever increasing military pork.

Want to make America great again? Go back to when billionaires paid a 90% income tax and eliminate all loopholes allowing companies to shift profits offshore. Make it simple...you sell to US customers you pay US tax in proportion to the amount of sales you make in the US.

Last month at the state of the union Biden predicted this and republicans booed him and called him a liar.

They're messing with my Social Security? Damn that Biden. Hell, with my COPD, obesity, bad heart, false teeth, carpal tunnel and bad knees from my job at the plant, I may not reach 60. Another reason to vote Trump-He'll fix this mess...

I am totally blown away that seniors and near seniors could possibly vote for people who are hoping you die before you're old enough to collect SS. This really should not be that tough if you start small. Begin with raising the max that goes to SS. It doesn't have to be outlandish but at least start to address the problem. For God sake Congress make an attempt to do your job. I would love to see a million senior march on Congress. Frozen embryos are not yet people. Serve the people who put you in office.

Our life expectancy is down to about 77. How many years of retirement do Republicans think we deserve?

"How many years of retirement do Republicans think we deserve?"

You get NOTHING!
You lose!
Good day, sir!

Such a winning strategy in an election year. The winning will continue!

#11 Joe Zero, that's why they keep raising the age. They're hoping we all die before we get to collect SS and Medicare!

I have not too many relatives that ever collected a penny in their SSI after slaving away with blue collar jobs. Republicans are just scum!

It needs to happen.

Red states have figured it out. Get rid of Medicare and healthcare and any other government programs that help the disadvantaged and elders live longer and then Social Security will take care of itself!
