"According to a court filing this week, Eastman estimates he already owes more than $1 million to his lawyers and could face a bill of more than $3 million "even if he is fully exonerated" in the Georgia election subversion case.

He is one of 15 remaining defendants, including former President Donald Trump. A trial isn't yet scheduled.

The filing provides a rare window into the growing legal costs for Trump's allies and into the scope of Eastman's legal work since he promoted false information about the 2020 vote and tried to persuade then-Vice President Mike Pence to block the presidential transfer of power from Trump to Joe Biden."

John Eastman needs to get a job. One where he can't hurt others. Better yet; prison.

Ha ha.

It's good to see that attempting to overthrow the government comes with a cost.

He had his "fun". Time to pay the piper.

John Eastman Wants His Law License Back

Nope. You took an oath and violated it and ethical values in the worst manner.

Go work at Walmart, traitor

Any lawyer who bought into Trump's 'by hook or by crook' scheme to subvert the Constitution is too dumb to have a law license.

Dumb and unethical. It's too late for crocodile tears now.

@#7 ... Dumb and unethical. It's too late for crocodile tears now. ...

Yeah. That's my current view.

T. S., Sherlock.

The circular logic of needing a license to make money, but the money will be coming from the same lowlife scum whose ilk he sought out and pandered to that landed him in trouble, is, to use a legal term, prima facie bizarre.

I think Trump is the only one of all of them with zero conscience. But he provides wide cover for some of these other charlatans to see how low they can go.

DBT2

I don't think "conscience" had anything to do with it.

I can't read their mind but it does appear that all of Trump's co-defendant thought that they were aboard Trump's Good Ship Lollypop and were going to be rewarded handsomely in a second Trump administration.

That's why I said "dumb."
