Tax Day reveals a major split in how Joe Biden and Donald Trump would govern

... Tax Day reveals a major split in how Joe Biden and Donald Trump would govern: The presidential candidates have conflicting ideas about how much to reveal about their own finances and the best ways to boost the economy through tax policy.

Biden, the sitting Democratic president, released his income tax returns on the IRS deadline of Monday. Filing jointly with his wife, Jill, he reported gross income of $619,976 and paid a federal income tax rate of 23.7%.

On Tuesday, Biden is scheduled to deliver a speech in Scranton, Pennsylvania, about why the wealthy should pay more in taxes to reduce the federal deficit and help fund programs for the poor and middle class.

Biden is proud to say that he was largely without money for much of his decades-long career in public service, unlike Trump, who inherited hundreds of millions of dollars from his father and used his billionaire status to launch a TV show and later a presidential campaign.

"For 36 years, I was listed as the poorest man in Congress," Biden told donors in California in February. "Not a joke."

In 2015, Trump declared as part of his candidacy, "I'm really rich."

The Republican former president has argued that voters have no need to see his tax data and that past financial disclosures are more than sufficient.

He maintains that keeping taxes low for the wealthy will supercharge investment and lead to more jobs ...

Trump Organization fined $1.6 million for long-running tax fraud scheme (2023)

OpEd: Trump has been a financial fraud for decades (December 2023)
thehill.com

... The evidentiary record in the $250 million Trump civil fraud trial in New York State Supreme Court has been completed. But the evidence before Judge Engoron does not tell the entire sordid tale behind former President Donald Trump's fraudulent financial statements.

What the trial has not revealed is that the Trump Organization's false financial statements are connected to a much larger corrupt pattern of persistent and continuing financial fraud and tax cheating that originated at least as early as the 1990's, when Trump's businesses turned into a colossal financial train wreck.

This background was neither a subject of the trial nor an element of the claims alleged in New York Attorney General Letitia James's complaint. But it does suggest why Trump ultimately falsified his financial statements. It also soundly rebuts Don Jr.'s trial testimony that his father was a "visionary" and an "artist with real estate." What it does show is that Trump is nothing more than a classic con artist. ...

As a senator Biden states he's taken Biden $5,736,701 in bribes from AIPAC alone.

This explains so much, but not alleged train commutes. Money changes everything and everyone.

What, exactly does it explain?

I man, if you say it explains, "so much" then you should be able to explain what, exactly, it explains.

Yer up.

I was afraid that Biden was offering United States military forces to protect himself from some form of blackmail, but it's apparent that he's been bought the other old fashioned way.

You are familiar with the impact of his meeting Golda, but not presuming any economic interest, perplexing.

There was a time when White Nationists considered AIPAC and Isntreal to be enemies of the White Race.

But now that Trump is telling Israel to finish the job in Gaza, well, we don't hear much about that any more.

The world order is shifting; people like Putin and Netanyahu are trying to make it topple. White Nationalists, both of them.
