Biden is a lame duck, so he doesn't care. Pardon Hunter, do whatever makes Repubicans mad about the border, forgive student debt, have AG Garland appoint some special counsels to investigate SCOTUS reprobates...there's a whole laundry list of stuff he can do by EO.

Harris has some separation from Biden, and can craft her own messaging and her own agenda. She is young, unlike the 78 year-old rapist, convicted felon and increasingly incomprehensible loser.

And PO1135809 has to, despite the media coverage that is constantly fawning over him and lying for him like they did in 2016, defend his presidential record, Project 2025, repealing Roe and possibly going to trial for the J6 case (he's out on bail in 3 cases, and one that was dismissed and is pending appeal). His sentencing in September could involve prison time.

That's at least 3 fronts. On top of that, if anyone actually caught that rambling disaster of an acceptance "speech," they'd know that the man is just a creepy weirdo. At least, normal human beings who aren't members of Cult 45 should think so. He didn't even stand next to his VP pick on the stage when he was done rambling and putting people to sleep in the stands.
