Oregon recognizes Nazi symbol is different from Swastika
The Oregon department of education has taken a "monumental decision" in officially recognizing the distinction between the Nazi hakenkreuz and the sacred Swastika.

Prior to the Third Reich, swastikas in the US were not "verboten" symbols.

I was in Oregon for a couple weeks in June and never saw a swastika. Huh. Go figure.

C0RI0LANUS You see swastikas on all sorts of postcards demo the very early 1900s. It was taken then in the US to be a good luck symbol. For example: commons.wikimedia.org

Good stuff. I wanted to cite those stamps you mentioned, but I was unable to locate them through my searches. The other imagery I was unable to find were some musicians and hippies at Woodstock wearing swastika pendants (nicht der hakenkreuzen).
