Unimaginable to think about what his relatives are going through. Just one day before what was supposed to be one of life's great celebratory moments for a family -- their sister's wedding.

Don't drive drunk! Don't drive buzzed! This idiot's stupid mistake of thinking he could pass a car on the right -- that was in the center of the road for a reason -- has taken two lives and forever broken many others.

It's also hard to think about kids who idolized Johnny Hockey. I still remember the shock of Thurman Munson and Lyman Bostock dying tragically in the late '70s.

I still remember when they passed laws barring people from drinking while driving.

And a bunch of Conservatives called it Communism.

DUI laws started in 1910. They were tightened in the 1990s.

Sycophant doesn't remember ----. He lied. He also doesn't remember conservatives doing anything.

This is horrifying. I cannot imagine what the surviving families are going through.

America is generally not a safe place for cyclists. Never realized how bad it was until i started bike commuting to work. Between road design that encourages recklessness/speeding, and our generally angry, rushed, selfish, car-obsessed culture, riding a bike is like putting a target on your back.

Has Dotard scheduled a thumbs up photo op yet?

8pm?

The driver may have been drunk, but the sun had set, and was past civil twilight, and into nautical twilight.

I am not defending the driver, but riding around on a bicycle at night already is pretty dangerous.

That being said, did you know the roads in the US are more dangerous (fatalities/1,000,000) than Russia?

America is generally not a safe place for cyclists.

Not even a safe place for drivers.

I am not defending the driver, but...

Do you also not defend Lewzer, but...?

So here's the location and images from the accident.

This isn't a road to be riding a bike on, especially at night..

Do you also not defend Lewzer, but...?

Your small mind can only comprehend two teams. You ignore facts, and side with your" team" regardless of facts.

This is why you are a Lumper, an NPC, and a Canadian, you can't think.

Horrible and tragic news.
My thoughts are with his family, friends, teammates, and fans.

And of course it was a drunk drivers actions that killed them.

Heart breaking.
