You are thinking like a sane person. It could be so much worse than police harassment. Think WWII era Germany for worst case scenario.

I was in a police station in 2019 a couple months before the election filing an Identity Theft report. The area they had me sit was out of view of the general office. I was there listening to these MAGAidiot officers talking about their politics without realizing I was there. They were concerned about what would happen if they put Pro-Trump signs up in their yards. I wanted to say something and have a constructive conversation but just listening to them I figured I would get nowhere and I would end up in cuffs on trumped up charges (no pun intended) as unhappy police are so happy to do. If not then when they seen me driving. So yes, I am in fear of them and abuse of power. Back on track - they were dumber than a box of rocks. That scared me too. Their whole thing was they seriously were suggesting people would burn their houses or otherwise vandalize their property. There are and were a LOT of Trump signs up in the community even though he was thrashed in the vote there. There was no rampant vandalism and no arsons but these officers were certain the liberals would get them.
