This is the sort of thing that Trump and the right hopes the average person will never hear about. It sort of takes the edge off of Trump's 'drill baby drill' proposal, as if we could possibly produce more oil and gas than what we're already doing.

This is due to the oil&gas companies producing, in spite of the biden administration, not because of it. None here can site anything this administration that is/was beneficial to th oil companies - but that will not stop the dems from trying to claim they are responsible.

I guess allowing them ALL record profits mean nothing to you. Being as how you paid for those profits and got none of the benefits of those profits.

The top five US-based oil and gas companies by market cap, according to S&P Global " ExxonMobil (XOM), Chevron (CVX), ConocoPhillips (CPP), EOG Resources (EOG) and Schlumberger (SLB) " have raked in more than $250 billion in profits between 2021 and 2023. That's a 160% jump compared to the first three years of the pro-big-oil Trump administration, according to calculations by CNN.

So trump's definition of DESTROYING THE OIL INDUSTRY is record highs? And if his coup succeeded the record highs would be even higher? That would totally be worth losing democracy.

Remember how Der Dotard said he would cut energy costs in half upon winning the presidency? I hope so, because no one of his voters will ever recall that line, and no one in the Dotard II administration will be able to do anything about the price of oil, which, of course is a product with world-wide demand and price structure...

"This is due to the oil&gas companies producing, in spite of the biden administration, not because of it. None. So you ty to create an argument against something that isn't happening and use your non-argument to attack Biden over things he's apparently not even doing!
And it makes the "drill baby drill" phony balogna political talking point, just Trump bragging that he's going to do what is already being done because he loves to take cewdit for what others do and never accept responsibility for what he actually does.
