First of all I wasn't just talking about Biden.

Secondly, there are lots of progressives in the party. Just because you cant control the leadership of the party, doesn't mean you don't exist.

I cant speak for everyone but personally, I'd like to see social security go away and allow the employer and employee come up with an investment strategy for the money we pay in.

I'd be twice as far ahead than with just my own investments.

I really don't know but my guess is that the average republican/MAGA voter knows they're getting screwed by social security. So yeah, they probably want to get as much back as they can.

Now ask the people sucking on it who didn't contribute or contributed very little if they would want an increase in SS benefits.
