Happy to see Russia fail, but this is gonna be such a mess.
No good guys here, but at least Assad is secular-ish. No telling what the rebels, who are mostly (but not all) Islamist religious nutters, will unleash.

Now....ask yourself this....do we want Russian to disintegrate into pieces?
or "collapse" as it was said?
Is that perhaps a worse scenario for all of Europe and Asia and of course the US?

Russia wouldn't collapse.
Putin would have been replaced.
But, why bother with such "What if ... " scenarios when Trump won and will help Putin rebuild the USSR.
