The adult son of the Republican North Dakota US senator Kevin Cramer has been sentenced to serve 28 years in prison in connection with a wild chase in which he fled from a hospital and drove into a deputy's vehicle, killing the deputy. Ian Cramer, 43, pleaded guilty in September to all of the charges against him, including homicide while fleeing a peace officer, preventing arrest, reckless endangerment, fleeing an officer and drug- and driving-related offenses.

Is this the orange pedo's nominee for Transportation Secretary?

But did he tick the wrong box on a gun application form?

I was just about to post this:

The 43-year-old son of Republican Senator Kevin Cramer was sentenced to 28 years for killing a police officer in a 100mph meth-fueled chase after escaping a hospital and stealing his mom's car. Cramer has frequently attacked President Biden by invoking his son, Hunter.

It sounds like his parents have known about their son's mental health problem for a long time. I can only add that age 43 is a little late to be taking him to a hospital for mental health treatment.

Therefore, I lay this whole sad incident squarely in the lap of his parents.

They knew and perhaps for political reasons, did nothing until it was too late.

Interesting take, Twin. So, you hold Cramers parents accountable for their 43 year old son's actions, but you do NOT hold Biden responsible for his 53 year old sons actions? How do you square that up? What is the age at which you consider an adult to be responsible for their OWN actions, FIFTY?

Or does that depend on their political party? And "they did nothing until it was too late". Did you pull that right out of your ass? Or do you have a link to substantiate that?

Many families of all socioeconomic levels and political parties struggle with addiction and mental heath issues. Adults can't be forced to undergo treatment or take their meds. Your ignorance on this subject is mind boggling.

@#5 ... So, you hold Cramers parents accountable for their 43 year old son's actions, but you do NOT hold Biden responsible for his 53 year old sons actions? ...

An interesting point.

From the cited article...

... Bismarck police said Ian Cramer's mother had taken him to a hospital because of mental health concerns. ...

So, yeah, let's go with that ...

How many deaths did Hunter Biden cause as a result of his problem?

And Hunter Biden went into rehab to help resolve his problem.

What did Ian Kramer do to help resolve the problem he faced, aside from apparently killing a police officer?

No, let's not "go with that", because Ian Cramer has absolutely nothing to do with Hunter Biden. That is my whole point. It is sickening to take a tragic situation and turn it a "Red vs. Blue" pissing contest, comparing the parents of grown ass men.

What HAS Ian Cramer done to resolve his problem? I have no idea and I'm betting you don't either. What has his father done or not done? I had never even heard of Kevin Cramer until I read this article, but a cursory search led me to this:

rollcall.com

Kevin Cramer doesn't sound like the kind of guy who would "perhaps for political reasons, did nothing until it was too late", but that's just my take.

Did I say that?

I merely pointed out a possible false equivalence.

Yes, in my opinion the two cases aren't even comparable.

Sen. Cramer failed his son. The proof is in this story.

President Biden didn't. The proof is in that story, too.

When is the horse-faced twunt from Georgia going to start waving pictures of this cop killer's junk in front of congress?

No but he is going to serve a 28 year sentence. see the (D)ifference?

It's also fun to watch you "forget" the income tax evasion that would have been the real sentence - but also the blanket pardon from past crimes that haven't been brought forward.

Try harder.

"I blame the parents" is an excuse that expires by the time their "children" turn 40 , don't you think?
