It was pretty obvious that flying down to kiss Lewzer's ass was going to end his career.

All his notes when blowing away before he was about to speak.

*sigh*

Pretty sure it was happening before that, perhaps you could spend more time understanding your own countries politics.

Justin Trudeau to resign " the latest global leader to fall

Trudeau suffered a fatal blow in December when Freeland quit Cabinet in a stunning departure that capped a catastrophic year for the prime minister.

Interesting stat given how much I hate Florida and its people....

Stanley Cups won during their tenure:
Ron DeSantis: 3
Trudeau: 0

Memo to rejoicing MAGA Party functionaries:

Be careful what you ask for. Canadian folk still do not like narrow-minded bigots, gunslingers and rude white men with big mouths and bad intentions.

Len - Steal My Sunshine (1999)
www.youtube.com

Lyrics excerpt ...

genius.com

...
[Intro: Tim & Matt]
Hey, Matt
Yeah, Tim?
Hey, you talked to Marc lately?
Uh, haven't really talked to him but he looks pretty, uh, down
"He looks pretty, uh, down?"
Yeah, well, maybe we should cheer him up then
What do you, uh, suppose we should do?
Well, does he like butter tarts?

[Verse 1: Marc]
I was lying on the grass of Sunday morning of last week
Indulging in my self-defeat
My mind was thugged, all laced and bugged, all twisted, wrong and beat
A comfortable three feet deep
Now the fuzzy stare from not being there on a confusing morning week
Impaired my tribal lunar speak
And of course you can't become if you only say what you would have done
So I missed a million miles of fun

[Chorus: Marc & Sharon]
I know it's up for me
(If you steal my sunshine)
Making sure I'm not in too deep
(If you steal my sunshine)
Keeping versed and on my feet
(If you steal my sunshine)
...

Trudeau is terrible. It's a good thing for Canada that he's on his way out.

A singular anonymous source?

Best to put all your eggs in this basket.

Trudeau took over as Liberal leader in 2013

He's been party leader for 12 years? I mean. It actually makes sense he'd want to step down. I get it, when compared to America's power hungry politicians staying in the government into their 80s and 90s, Trudeau choosing to retire is very confusing.

Trudeau be fine whatever he choose to do.

Meanwhile we live in a Gerontocracy.
