I paid $3.43 for a dozen of eggs at Aldi's yesterday. Limit two dozen. Note on door said price subject to change.

Not for a dozen
Around here it's 3.70 for store eggs 5.99 for eggland best 7.99 for cage free. Source was at the store about 7 hours ago. That's expensive but it's not stupid high average person has to work about 1 min per egg.
