Casey DeSantis Floats Run for Florida Governor

Republican donors at a gathering last week in Palm Beach County openly discussed the prospect of Casey DeSantis' running for governor in 2026, and for the first time, Florida's first lady is seriously considering the idea. Gov. Ron DeSantis, her husband, faces term limits and cannot seek re-election.

If pardoning Chauvin for his federal rap meant the guy went free, I think Trump would go for that in a second. However, there's the concurrent state sentence for which Old Orange Julius cannot issue a pardon.

Umm... that's a fairly long article with no mention of her qualifications to be a Gov anywhere.

So I looked it up, and she was a Golf Channel TV host, so that does it, she's in in golf-happy FL!!

I mean, if a Fox News Host can be Sec of Defense, then hey, it's all good. Not to mention, she's the daughter of Sicilian immigrants, so this suddenly independent GOP Congress in FL better mind their Ps and Qs if they don't want to wake up next to a bloody horse head!
