Germany's new chancellor, Friedrich Merz, has told Ukraine's Volodymyr Zelensky that Berlin will help Kyiv produce long-range missiles to defend itself from Russian attack.

Germany is making Trump look like Putin's bitch! Glad to see a leader with the cajones to stand alongside Zelensky! I don't think Donald will be invited to the victory celebration.

Yes, it's about time countries like Germany, who have more exposure to a Russian win than we do, have finally stepped up to protect themselves. Enough of the EU free loading off the US.
