"If you don't turn them over to the MPs this minute, I - -I'm going to resign my commission!..."

One of my favorites:

"Oh my God, they shot him!"

I was really looking for another scene from the football game... "We got a Yellow Flag, We got a Yellow Flag!" - the cheerleaders.

That move had so many great scenes... the Pros from Dover, the Painless Pole and the satisfied nurse in the helicopter, ha!

RIP Hot Lips.

My two gen-z kids love MASH so they're bummed out.

Watching MASH in the 80s was a family thing growing up. There was a few other shows, but MASH was a big one.

I am glad Margaret developed beyond "Hot Lips" in the show. She deserved a strong character.

I do mourn her death, and remember her contributions to a wonderful show. It was a time of great tv, great actors, and of course, as now, a time of great national division.

But the left always says there were no good ole days like the 50s or 60s etc. They claim it was a time of hate. But the reality is the hate all others was a time for the left to spew hate of those not like them. They were Democrats and intolerant "liberals" and anti unity politicos that made everyone and even families hate each other over foolish political intolerance and stupid differences. Intolerance always comes from and originates with leftist Antifa types in black outfits and masks.

How did she get that old and the good times of that era gone and replaced with hogwash of political elites promoting something that gives us hate. RIP Loretta.

Not just the disciplined Margaret "Hot Lips" Houlihan, but also the strong-willed and very knowledgeable Margaret "Hot Lips" Houlihan.

A bit on the rare side for such a role given to a female character back then.

R.I.P. Loretta Jane Szwed.

And thank-you for the gravitas.
