"Trump repeatedly referred to a planned "partnership" between Nippon and U.S. Steel, without explaining what that would mean."
That sounds about right.

"Trump said later on Friday that the deal between US Steel and Nippon Steel has not been finalized, despite the earlier celebration in Pennsylvania. "I have to approve the final deal with Nippon, and we haven't seen that final deal yet," Trump told reporters after returning to Washington."
One of the unanswered questions is, "How much of US Steel will Nippon own"?

First you have to breath life into steel manufacturing then set up tariffs.
Just saying ---- doesn't get anything done.
Trump is the master of saying ---- without any intention of following through.

No kidding. When this all got going, Nippon wanted to outright BUY US Steel. Biden blocked it.
Now Lewzer has a "deal" for a "Partnership" with Nippon. The HQ stays in Pennsylvania so they get the tax money. What does Nippon get?
