Have we checked the entire life history of the victim to make sure he didn't deserve to be murdered by a law enforcement officer?
Maybe when he was five he pulled a dog's tail.
Good riddance.

The hooligan element among cops gets a big boost from a widespread Us v. Them mentality/attitude

-Have we checked the entire life history of the victim.....
Yep, we have.
He's neither hispanic nor black so very few people give a ----.....or at least pretend to give a ----.
I believe this guy's constitutionally protected rights were violated.
"I call for reform!!!"

Now, with all that aside.......is it fair to point out he was morbidly obese and a cocaine abuser?

he was morbidly obese and a cocaine abuser?
As fair as it was to point out Floyd was a drug user.
As fair as it was to point out Garner was over weight.
None of those factors are what actually killed the victims.

" with all that aside.......is it fair to point out he was morbidly obese and a cocaine abuser?"
Sure.
But he was a morbidly obese cocaine user yesterday, and neither of those killed him.
What killed him?

spicy and regular.
Almost a year to release this report. That's too long.
A civil suit is coming regardless. Might as well get it started.

Did you read the autopsy? Was the coroner being unfair to Floyd?

Is it fair that someone stood on his neck?

I watched the murder.
Didn't need an autopsy to tell me how he died.
You needed an autopsy to make excuses for why we shouldn't care about his death.

actually, he was dead yesterday.
and even 11 months ago.

No. It's not. Because those things didn't kill him. The cop's knee killed him.

I agree but I'm not a judge nor did I go to law school.
This autopsy ruled it a homocide and I'm in no position to question that.
I didn't ask if the cocaine abuse and morbid obesity was a defense for law enforcement.....I asked if it was fair to point out.
I wasn't asking if it should be evidence in a court of law.

"Sandra Lee Reeder said that the body camera footage shows her husband running from police when they arrived. Police then shocked Reeder with a Taser, placed him in handcuffs and laid him on his stomach, she said. One officer put his knee on Reeder's neck for over three minutes, she said."
Are you planning on arguing it is acceptable to place a knee on someone's neck for a period of time, which changes based on their obesity or cocaine use?
Okay. I'll amend my earlier statement. If you're arguing that point, then yes you should bring it up.

"actually, he was dead yesterday."
I know that.
I was using the word loosely.
But you knew that.
