New Republican gerrymanders in 2026 moved the median House seat from Trump+3.1 to Trump+4.9, and they plan to redraw more maps in 2028. The GOP could make the median Trump+9.1 or worse, but if Dems respond in these states, they could cut the GOP's advantage to less than it was in 2026 or even 2024
