Saturday Night Live absolutely skewered the Republican response to the State of the Union address when two-time Academy Award nominee Scarlett Johansson made a guest appearance as Sen. Katie Britt's (R-AL) doppelgänger.

Even Sen Britt appears to have issues with her response ...
Sen. Katie Britt attempts to clean up her misleading State of the Union response www.nbcnews.com
... Alabama GOP Sen. Katie Britt on Sunday responded to allegations that her response to President Joe Biden's State of the Union address was misleading. The criticism centers on a story Britt told about a victim of human trafficking, which she implied happened during Biden's tenure. ... On "Fox News Sunday," Britt did not acknowledge making any mistake or leaving a wrong impression. She was asked whether she meant to give the impression that the story she told about a victim of human trafficking happened during Biden's tenure. "No," Britt answered, adding later: "I very clearly said I spoke to a woman who told me about when she was trafficked when she was 12, so I didn't say a teenager. I didn't say a young woman, a grown woman, a woman when she was trafficked when she was 12." ...

So, she did not appear to deny that she propagated lies in order to justify her political opinion?
And what was her opinion of her, I'll be kind, overacting?

Must be nice to be able to just roll over and say to your spouse, "I'd like to play that part, Colin."

From other sites, the voice she used is called Fundie Baby Talk aka Mommy's Jesus Voice. Used to indicate submission to God's own natural order aka their interpretation of biblical patriarchy.
Seriously.....

Yeah. Why would the Republican response to Biden's speech have anything to do with Biden? Republicans will lie about anything. They'll even lie about completely inconsequential stuff like Paul Ryan lied about his marathon times.
Lying is a Way Of Life for these Deplorables. They show us that, every day. Like on the "Republicans are trying to dismantle Social Security" thread. Full of Deplorable lies.

This lady is now a hero in the Yellowhammer State, with thousands gushing "Golleee, she were played by a famous actress! Just like Barbie!"

Since you said "seriously" I have to give you an NW flag instead of a FF. But it was pretty funny stuff too! We humans are very funny creatures. I'd rather laugh at how ridiculous we can be rather than than cry about how ridiculously stupid we are sometimes.

Because it was intentional.
She knew the entire story and knew it was under W and not even inside the US. She is counting on the poorly educated to believer her which they will. She doubled down on it on Sunday and when pressed tried the weakest walk back in history.
