Rampant online misinformation about birth control appears to be having an effect on the number of women who use it, doctors told The Washington Post this week.

Fair enough. Maybe think twice before sticking one's lower appendage into the nearest available orifice.

But spreading of medical misinformation is a real concern. And not one I think we should ignore.

Personally, I think this sort of thing will only be curbed if TikTok is held to financial account for the lies it spreads.
