Dems did everything they could to lose the last election.

I predict they are going to have to jettison the LBGTQ and gay agenda in order to be able to win again.

They'll at least have to scale it back, so it doesn't look like it includes QAnon anymore.

Yes, they did.

And no, they won't. They can't entirely cut it loose because enough of the base would walk away that it won't help them.

But what they need to do and should be doing is getting back to addressing the core issues the majority of Americans are worried about, namely economics and future stability.

When people are under pressure and stress and it looks like that pressure and stress is only going to grow, they won't care about increasingly absurd social issues.

Hell, they showed that they'd rather sit home and let Trump win than vote for a party that is continuing down that path with dips*&^ moves like electing David Hogg to the DNC.

I think Mr. Carville's point was maybe to focus first and foremost on experience and qualifications, rather than those things that shape the individual's personal life.

Carville and Maher should start a stand-up comedy tour. They would be the new darlings of right-wing vermin.

Ignore Carville dems as you need to go further to the left if you want to regain the White House, and Hogg will show you the way ; )

Democrats should recapture the 6,265,888 voters they lost between 2020 and 2024. These Democrats didn't go to the Green Party which only won 862,049 votes in 2024. The missing 6.2m voters were antiwar progressives who stayed home in Nov 2024 because of US support for Israel which obliterated Gaza (~48,000 KIA, +100,000 WIA). Similarly, Democrats lost millions of voters between 1964 and 1968 because antiwar progressives sick of Vietnam stayed home in Nov 1968 rather than vote for Republican Richard Nixon or Segregationist George Wallace. This cost VPOTUS Hubert Humphrey the White House. Arab-Americans make up 1.1% of the US population at 2,560,619 people, and not all of them are of voting age. If we liberally subtract the Arab-American and Green Party vote from the equation, VPOTUS Kamala Harris still loses by 2,843,220 votes. The antiwar movement in the US dates back to the American Revolution. See story: link text
