Marc Elias: President Trump's goal is clear. He wants lawyers and law firms to capitulate and cower until there is no one left to oppose his Administration in court. Elias Law Group will not be deterred from fighting for democracy in court. There will be no negotiation with this White House about the clients we represent or the lawsuits we bring on their behalf.

Glad to see that law firm isn't intimidated by the Nazis

Why is it always a partisan leftist judge, persuaded by a leftist activist lawyer, on behalf of leftists, issuing rulings against the president's actions, before the case is even argued?

By rights one would think that a nonliberal judge would draw at least some of these cases.

Paul Weiss already has backed down and is now providing legal services to veterans based on Trump requirements. Why would Trump be trying to help veterans?

But enough about 'leftist' Chief Justice Roberts who told Trump to stop ignoring Judges Orders and not to advocate for their impeachment.

Have you forgotten that Biden ignored the SCOTUS decisions when it came to giving away our tax dollars without authority and to pay for votes? You claim Elias works for America when the reality is they work for the Democrat Party. en.m.wikipedia.org

Nope, he didn't.
You are either lying or too stupid to know you are repeating a lie.
Either way you are the loser.

Just figure out what Trump personally thinks that he'll get from it.

From Lawfare? Thought this wasn't happening?

You know the country is ------- crazy, and not for long when it starts quoting and worshipping lawyers.

The Act isn't reviewable by the Judicial branch, Congress made it so, SCOTUS agreed.

Yes... you are at least a dozen idiots:

"The Alien Enemies Act may be used only during declared wars or armed attacks on the United States by foreign governments," The Brennan Center for Justice said in a Saturday statement.

"The president has falsely proclaimed an invasion and predatory incursion to use a law written for wartime for peacetime immigration enforcement."

The Act isn't reviewable by the Judicial branch, Congress made it so, SCOTUS agreed.

And this is how we know you are utterly clueless and you only repeat what right-wing nutters propagandize. Actions against and for the AEA have always been subject to review of the Courts:

  • Chief Justice John Marshall, acting as a lower court judge, that ordered the release of a British immigrant.
  • Supreme Court in Korematsu v. United States, a notorious 1944 decision that was overturned in 2018.
  • In 1948, the Supreme Court rejected a challenge to President Harry S. Truman's use of the Alien Enemies Act
The point being the Courts have always intervened, even if they upheld what was being done. There has never been a time when the AEA overruled court intervention. Never.

On the Alien Enemies Act, The judge is RIPPING the Trump lawyer to SHREDS right now!
OUCH!

Oh my god it is a bloodbath with the attorney sounding like an idiot that hasn't a clue as to basic facts!

"Biden ignored the SCOTUS decisions"

Refresh my memory.
Which Supreme Court ruling did Biden violate?

On the article, Marc Elias is a hero. A flat out hero. He's right on the money with his post. Trump is an enemy of the United States. Period. He's an enemy to the Constitution. He needs to be neutralized ASAP. His reign ended. It won't happen, the GOP are too chickenshht to do it. He never should have been allowed to run for office again. The first impeachment should have been overwhelming and the finding of guilt unequivocal.
