A Russian scientist from Harvard Medical School has been detained by US Immigration and Customs Enforcement, according to her friends and colleagues.

This is horrific. Kseniia Petrova, a Russian scientist at Harvard Medical School, was detained at Logan Airport after returning from France and sent to an ICE detention in Louisiana, The Insider reports. A big critic of Putin and the war in Ukraine, she may now be deported to Russia.

America is in the process of sending a highly qualified scientist back to Russia where she inevitably will be killed for criticizing Putin.

I prefer to think of us as a cranky, mentally developmentally challenged, chromosomally-special, 400-pound adult. Sure, we smash people and stuff in fits of rage about 66% of the time, but we're mostly harmless for the rest of the day because we're sleeping (if you disregard the harm caused by us soiling our bigboy diapers in bed).

I'm not particularly sympathetic to Ukraine but Trump is ------- THEM HARD.

They trusted the US to be consistent. Putin is more likely live up to any agreement made than the US is.

It's sad, but only too obvious to anyone paying attention.

The Ukraine was in a bind,..they needed help,.. but they made a deal with the Devil and now he wants his Due.

Economic Vassalige and Subjection?... or No Help and even aiding the Russians on the table.
