A teenager was wrongfully taken off the streets in Tucson, Arizona and held for more than a week despite being an American citizen. Court documents say the teen admitted to illegally entering the U.S. and that he was arrested in Nogales, Arizona, according to Arizona Public Media. The teen said he has never been to Nogales. His family had to make many phone calls to discover the teens plight.

Jose Hermosillo, arrested while visiting Tucson from Albuquerque, told them he's a US citizen.

[Border Patrol said Hermosillo was] arrested "at or near Nogales ... without proper immigration documents" and that [he] admitted to illegally entering the U.S.

This is astonishingly dishonest.[image or embed]

Anyone else think that ICE just gets bored and makes a little excitement for themselves?

And then, or course, lie about it to everyone.

Trump is not happy with the rate of deportments he so glibly lauded as a scapegoat for America's problems.

ICE is under pressure to step up the pace. To make headlines for Trump . . . not themselves.

As a result, ICE will take a stab in the dark at anything.

In NYC, ICE agents detained and deported Merwil Gutierrez knowing he was the wrong individual.

"The officers grabbed him and two other boys right at the entrance to our building. One said: No, he's not the one,' like they were looking for someone else. But the other said: Take him anyway,'" the father of Merwil Gutierrez said.

Care to say anything about the current, ongoing Trump immigration disaster and its trashing of the Constitution?

Best stay inside, ROBSON. You're a fat, waddling target for a president who doesn't give a god-damn about where you were born.

Hey raetard, when you tell Border Patrol that you entered the country illegally, they tend to believe you.

If you even bothered to read the article...

That you and the rabid Lumpers find any little mistake as the Government is the equivalent of the Nazis?
You're hyperventilation over the littlest of things is hilarious, it erodes legitimate questions about what Trump is doing.

Each side has a different version. But lets say your version is "correct". Why just him? Why not everyone with brown skin?

idk what the truth is in this case, but I would imagine the Border Patrol actually caught him near Nogales, and the kid is probably lying. But I am willing to refrain judgement that the government is rounding up brown people randomly and see how this plays out.

Given the hoaxes Snoofy and you had swallowed, perhaps sit this one out until the facts come in.

McLaughlin said Hermosillo approached border patrol agents in Tucson, stated that he had illegally entered the country through Nogales, and wanted to turn himself in and complete "a sworn statement identifying as a Mexican citizen who had entered unlawfully."

"He was processed and appeared in court on April 11. Afterward, he was held by the U.S. Marshals in Florence, AZ. A few days later, his family presented documents showing U.S. citizenship," McLaughlin said. "The charges were dismissed, and he was released to his family."

Another question, if the kid was visiting his GF parents with his GF (in Tucson), why weren't there any witnesses to the government "abduction"? Why did it take 10days for the family to get their shit together and get him released? Something isn't right about the story, too many inconsistencies.

There were not any mistakes made here.
What, specifically, are you lying about and calling a mistake?

"idk what the truth is in this case, but I would imagine the Border Patrol actually caught him near Nogales..."
He was caught near Tucson. Nogales is 70 miles away.

"the kid is probably lying."
He just got here illegally but his driver's license that is several years old? Hmm...

Why wasn't he with his gf's parents 24/7? Is that your question?

Why did it take the family 10 days to get a lawyer and schedule a hearing? And that is your idiotic follow up question? And after ICE kept a US citizen detained even after a hearing proved he was a citizen?

ICE didn't care. That's the issue we see time and again.

Real Question: Why haven't we deported you yet?

Actually they started before 10 days - it took 10 days for him to be released after his kidnapping.

"Mistakes" - flat out lies by a border agent.
How about this "mistake"?
"Based on her (Judge Riggans) inspection of his birth certificate and Social Security card, Riggans said she found no probable cause for the charge. However, the state prosecutor insisted the court lacked jurisdiction over Lopez-Gomez's release because U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement had formally asked the jail to hold him.

"This court does not have any jurisdiction other than what I've already done," Riggans said."

Lyin Yav and Snoofy.

Sit his one out.

Here is a copy of the sworn statement signed by Jose Hermosillo. During questioning, which was done in Spanish, Hermosillo stated he:

-Was born in Mexico
-Was not a U.S. citizen
-Crossed the border illegally via the desert
-Wanted work
-Was in the U.S. illegally

At this time, I am going with Yav and Snoofy can't fall out of a boat and hit water.

Why wasn't he with his gf's parents 24/7? Is that your question?

Or at least why didn't they know where he was, say he went to go get some food/groceries. He could go alone, but people would know where he is, and if he doesn't have a phone, "HERE take mine while you're out incase" ..... oh idk.... seems pretty reasonable.

Thats my question. For instance when I visit my wifes family, I don't wander around without telling someone where I am going, and usually would drag a family member local to the area around with me, unless in the local area, say the nearest 7/11.

You? You that anti social you'd just wander off from your "relatives" in an unfamiliar city without saying anything?

Why did it take the family 10 days to get a lawyer and schedule a hearing?

Because again no one knew where the kid wandered off too? He didn't tell anyone?

You know, to be reported missing after 2 days??

The kid lied as stated above.

So yeah its going to take time to figure out what the fuck is going on. Not the governments fault at all.

If there was ever a need of proof for how big of an idiot this guy is...

#24 | Posted by jpw at 2025-04-21 06:30 PM | Reply

My proof, which should be obvious to even massive idiots, including you, Onerotnut, is:

  • He is free
  • Has provided ample evidence that he was born here in the United States.
  • Is a US citizen.
All the garbage you throw out here doesn't and can't change those facts. Miraculously you believe that they all waited 10 days, found a lawyer on the 10th day, and instantly he was freed. Milliseconds later. You continuously cite garbage and expect anyone with a brain (please note who flags your posts in your favor are self-selecting 'do not have a brain')to believe you.

The pattern I was referring to is that your brain is conditioned, no matter what, to believe the state. It's why you love Trump. It's why you need to be fed a narrative from the state. It's why you believe it without questioning, you sad little man.

I mean - seriously? You are citing Julio Rosas?! LMAO!
