US Secretary of Defense Pete Hegseth refused to answer a simple question about the Trump's plans for Greenland, implying that the US military has drawn up plans to take the country by force. While testifying before Congress, Republican Representative Mike Turner gave Hegseth the opportunity to clarify the Trump administration's position on taking military action to acquire Greenland -- but the secretary refused to deny rumors of a potential invasion. You can hear Hegseth's testimony here: Twitter "We look forward to working with Greenland to ensure that it is secured from any potential threat," Hegseth concluded, still giving no clear answer.

Pete Hegseth's revelation also comes just hours after the Danish government approved the construction of US military bases on Danish soil. The Trumpf junta is also planning to move the mineral-rich Arctic island under the protection of USNORTHCOM, rather than USEUCOM, a symbolic change to incorporate the Danish territory. The White House also has plans to conduct an expensive public relations campaign to convince the 56,583 Greenlanders that they actually want to be Americans. Earlier this year, DNI Tulsi Gabbard ordered intelligence collection on Greenland. In a show of unity with Greenland, French President Emmanuel Macron will travel there this weekend (15 June) and meet with their new Prime Minister, Jens-Frederik Nielsen. Link: Tulsi Gabbard

Trump and his goons need to be introduced to the concept of the "Mercator Projection."

If Trump takes Greenland the transition to Nazism is almost complete.

We don't have concentration camps for political prisoners and other undesirables yet. But I'll wager that some of Trump's friends are already negotiating contracts.

It's Russia who needs the U.S. military control of Greenland to clear the path for Russia's advance into Eastern Europe

It would be an illegal order to conduct a war of aggression against a friendly nation just to steal their land. It is so illegal, that even the enlisted ranks would be entitled to refuse to out that order to invade Greenland.
Fascism needs a constant focus of fear and aggression and hate...so sure, Greenland, though it would weaken America immensely, but hey, Putin would be overjoyed.
Has the Defense Department ever been led by more incompetent people, ever?
Hegseth is a little boy doing what his daddy wants done. He is no Jim Mattis.

Everybody Knows (Leonard Cohen song)

... Song

"Everybody Knows" was first released on Cohen's album I'm Your Man, February 1988.

Five minutes, 37 seconds long, "Everybody Knows" is known for its somber tone and repetition of the title at the beginning of most lines.

Featuring phrases such as "Everybody knows that the dice are loaded" and "Everybody knows that the good guys lost", "Everybody Knows" has been variously described by critics as "bitterly pessimistic" yet funny, or, more strongly, a "bleak prophecy about the end of the world as we know it".[1]

The lyrics include references to AIDS,[2] social problems,[3] and relationships and religion.[4] ...

...
[Verse 1]
Look what's happening out in the streets
Got a revolution, got to revolution
Hey, I'm dancing down the street
Got a revolution, got to revolution
Ain't it amazing all the people I meet
Got a revolution, got to revolution

[Bridge]
One generation got old
One generation got sold
This generation got no destination to hold
Pick up the cry

[Verse 2]
Hey, now it's time for you and me
Got a revolution, got to revolution
Come on now, we're marching to the sea
Got a revolution, got to revolution
Who will take it from you, we will and who are we?
