Initial jobless claims decline for a fifth straight week

Applications for U.S. unemployment benefits declined for a fifth straight week to the lowest level since mid-April, showing a resilient job market. First-time jobless claims decreased by 7,000 to 221,000 in the week ended July 12. The median forecast in a Bloomberg survey of economists called for 233,000 applications.

Donald Trump is the least competent, most dishonest president that we've ever had.

He's a man who gets up in the morning and spends his entire day planning how to manipulate other people to his benefit.

Fudging economic statistics is about the easiest thing he could do.

Trust your own eyes; look around. Note how much money you spend at the grocery store. See which of your neighbors are losing their jobs.

Reality is the only counter to that evil freak.

I have no doubt that your Canadian neighborhood is going to ----. Heck, you voted for that to continue. Here in the US, the Democrats have given up with their '---- on the economy' messaging as people are experiencing the exact opposite. So, that is why Dems have shifted to the Epstein stuff - they can't win on immigration, they can't win on inflation, they can't win on jobs.
