$1.1 billion was earmarked for the corporation

Imagine that. Just enough to retrofit Bribe Force One.

From GOOGLE AI OVERVIEW:
"Based on the most recent information available, NPR reports that it receives about 1% of its funding directly from the federal government. Some sources, including The New York Times and Oklahoma State University, cite a figure of 2% for NPR's direct federal funding."

So they cannot remain in operation with losing just one to two percent of their funding? Hum, sounds like the old Twitter that was so overmanned that even after Musk eliminated about 80% of personnel, was still able to operate. But then again, it has been/is being operated by liberals so am not surprised.

Wonder what happened to all those donors? Wasnt it a thing for that company to say "it's because of generous donations from viewers like you" that keeps it going?

re: #6 Boaz

Do you really wonder? It was never funded entirely by donations, but partially.

Anyway, this is bad news

Here is NYC's classical music radio station, funded by public donations and the American taxpayer (until Trumpf's ghastly intervention): www.wqxr.org
