Nothing terrifies Republicans more than the underlings speaking truth to power.

This is Covid reporting redux: stop asking federal employees about their jobs, and their job satisfaction, in the eyes of one man, soar to new heights! The federal government will become our nation's preferred employer! Second only to Trump Hotels and Resorts ...

I've always hated employee surveys.
Maybe it's because my experience with them is not good. Employers who use them to pad or embellish happiness and/or satisfaction or use it as an opportunity to conduct a witch hunt on those who dared criticize....

Cool story. What do you think about the administration cancelling this survey? Consider that federal law requires the US government to conduct an annual employee survey.

Federal law is null and void.
The Supreme Court said the president can do whatever he wants and the republican majority congress is right in board with it.

"I've always hated employee surveys."
That's nice. Have you ever worked for a company as large as the Federal Government?
I have.
Employee feedback was essential to maintaining morale. It's was actually a yearly check on the performance of the managers and supervisors.
But if you are not interested in employee morale then of course Fug them employee surveys. Now it's ... Who cares what the hoi polloi think about their working conditions? They should just STFU and be lucky to be employed or they can quit and join Trumpy's SS at the eastern front.

Federal workers need to be in constant trauma. Not thinking of their next vacation. Think of all the money DOGE could save by canceling all annual leave and sick leave. And what about all those "benefits"?
Them lazy deep state bureaucrats don't need no stinkin benefits.. they have a job and they should be happy with that.
