President Donald Trump's administration asked the U.S. Supreme Court on Thursday to let him move ahead with firing Federal Reserve Governor Lisa Cook - a move without precedent since the central bank's founding in 1913 - in a legal battle that imperils the Fed's independence.

Adequate numbers of useful idiots voted for Ralph Nader '00 and Jill Stein '16 to hand hand power to the GOP. And now the Republicans have the SCOTUS of their dreams which will rubber stamp anything the GOP wants.

A SCOTUS that will also, not coincidentally, strike down every progressive and rational law and regulation that we have enacted in the last 100 years and hamstring any progressive and rational laws that we might pass in the next 100.

Elections have consequences, even when you decide to vote none of the above.

TLDR:

Jill Stein 2028!

Trump Orders SCOTUS to Let Him Fire Fed Governor

Can't wait to see what they say when he demands power to fire SCOTUS justices. Just the DEI hires, of course.

He isn't wrong.

Sorry the Dem candidate wasn't too your liking. Now you get stuck with the far worse alternative. And so do the rest of us.

Thanks Third Party Voters!

Dumb and Wrong.

The DNC was pushing Kamala with No Primary.

They just picked her themselves. No input from the voters. It pissed off a lot of potential voters.

Biden running himself would have been Better. He at least was the party leader.

Even having a "divisive" primary would have been Better.

Shades of Sandbagging Bernie for Hillary.

The DNC could ---- up a wet dream.

And your third party schtick is hilarious!

Split the moderate/progressive vote, and then bellyache at the inevitable result of the GOP waltzing into office. Followed by this when the GOP carries through on their promise to disenfranchise voters to make sure they never lose office again:
Shocked-Pikachu

But do it a few hundred more times and see if it works out better.

Oh, and there is this:

Some conservative figures have coalesced around the idea of restricting guns for people diagnosed with gender dysphoria [...] through a federal law that bars people from possessing firearms if they are "adjudicated as a mental defective."

You know what else "mentally defective" people can't do?
Can You Be Ruled Mentally Unfit to Vote? In most places in the U.S., yes.

I remember when you said that you were done with the democratic party because they refuse to address the plight of the voters. Just sayin

The answer to that question might be all the proof we need that certain people might be due for loony-disenfranchisement.

Stinky hired yet another crook to be a part of his vile administration.

Tom Homan, U.S. President Donald Trump's border czar, was reportedly investigated for accepting $50,000 from undercover FBI agents.

Carol Leonnig and Ken Dilanian of MSNBC over the weekend reported that Homan was under investigation and that, "The FBI and Justice officials closed the investigation, which a Justice Department appointee had called a 'deep state' probe in early 2025."

"In an undercover operation last year, the FBI recorded Tom Homan, now the White House border czar, accepting $50,000 in cash after indicating he could help the agents " who were posing as business executives " win government contracts in a second Trump administration, according to multiple people familiar with the probe and internal documents reviewed by MSNBC," the outlet reported.

Also, to be clear, I'm not attacking third parties. Those narcissist leaders are to be expected in any society, seeking their own aggrandizement no matter the cost to society at large.

The focus is on the voters. Because they are the ones who are ultimately responsible for who they allow into office, through their action or inaction.

Some of us did what we could to stop this from happening. Others threw a hissy fit and voted Green with wild abandon/sat on our butts on election day, regardless of the impact this would have on our government, ourselves, and others.

No matter how much you wish to shift the blame, the buck stops with you Laura, and your ilk.
