Robin Valadares said "Think of tariffs as a stealth tax on imports. Who gets hit hardest? Our seniors." He cited data from the National Association of Federal Retirees showing that 1 in 4 seniors are already struggling with rising prices. New tariffs are only adding to the pressure. #TrumpTariffs

"While Donald Trump sends $40 billion to Argentina, I'm proposing sending American seniors on Social Security an extra $200 a month to offset higher prices. The cost of everything from coffee to beef to health care is up, in large part due Trump's chaotic tariffs, and Democrats are fighting to deliver some financial relief and lower costs for Americans," Warren said in a statement.

"This new legislation to expand Social Security is an emergency lifeline for seniors struggling to afford Trump's tariffs and rising inflation."

Wait, what do Billionaires get out of this?

That's the most important question in Trump's America.

Sure--this will be signed into law so long as payments are made via checks with the orange oaf's signature on them...

Buying votes ahead of the vital midterms...and ignoring the fact that with the trump insane tax cuts for the rich, we are one day fairly soon going to wake up in a bankrupt empire, the way the Soviets woke to find out that those senile criminals who had been leading them let the country go bankrupt. And at the end of our empire, there will be Putin laughing and laughing. He was able to destroy America the way America destroyed the Soviet Union.
Truth be told.

Why on earth would removing such a thing?

Trumpy does not care about the elderly who are poor. They are also suckers and losers according to his "philosophy".

He blocked healthcare subsidies to help middle class Americans afford health insurance. He literally went to the Supreme Court to try and stop food from getting to the poor.

Why on God's Green Earth would he sign a bill to help the elderly?

It's another fools gambit. What would he personally gain from signing it? I can tell you what he'll get if he doesn't. He gets revenge and gets to own the libs. That is worth more than gold to him.

The only solution to any of America's ills is to throw the bums out. Make Trumpy a lame duck, err, lame dick.

What I don't understand is if ObamaCare was supposed to be the greatest thing on the planet, the young and healthy supporting the elderly, why does it need subsidies?
