Rep. Lauren Boebert (R-Colo.) is accusing President Donald Trump of blocking a non-controversial water project affecting her district after the lawmaker challenged Trump to force the release of the Epstein files in November. " ... Trump decided to veto ... a bipartisan bill that passed both the House and Senate unanimously. Why? Because nothing says America First' like denying clean drinking water to 50,000 people in Southeast Colorado, many of whom enthusiastically voted for him in all three elections," Boebert said, according to Colorado news reporter Kyle Clark. " ... I sincerely hope this veto has nothing to do with political retaliation for calling out corruption and demanding accountability. Americans deserve leadership that puts people over politics." "I thought the [Trump] campaign was about lowering costs and cutting red tape," Boebert added.

Uh oh. Will history record Boebert as being the brave soul that broke the MAGA dam?

... Americans deserve leadership that puts people over politics ...

I agree.

Unfortunately, Pres Trump seems to be of a different opinion: Putting himself over Americans.

Benito Mussolini's secret services were the most effective spy/police agencies of his era, far superior to his military, and the Nazis modelled their security organs after Italy's OVRA.

When the head of Italy's secret service passed, Gestapo leadership flew to Rome for his funeral.

During the Second World War, Field Marshal Erwin Rommel relied on Italian intelligence to fight the Allies in North Africa.

So effective was the OVRA, Il Duce's spies robustly penetrated the Vatican.

With World War Two raging all around his head, every day Il Duce looked forward to hearing about the salacious conduct between the clergymen in the occult bowels of the Vatican.

"Il Duce, I have important news! The Allies have landed at Anzio!"

"But did Cardinal Sarducci ever get to sleep with Father Vito?"
