An unvaccinated, out-of-state traveler who tested positive for measles visited the Ark Encounter in Williamstown, Kentucky on Dec. 29 and also stayed at the Holiday Inn & Suites in Dry Ridge from Dec. 28 to 30, according to the Kentucky Department of Public Health. If you visited either of these locations during that time period, the department urges you to check your vaccination status, monitor symptoms, avoid high-risk areas and contact a health care provider with any concerns.
