Drudge Retort: The Other Side of the News

When NYC taxi drivers went on strike in late 2021, NYS Assemblyman Zohran Mamdani (D) supported them by going on a two-week hunger strike in front of City Hall. Meanwhile NYS Governor Mario Cuomo (D) was forced to resign because of NYS AG Letitia James' report about his horrendous sexual misconduct (published 3 Aug 2021), as well as his misrepresenting the number of COVID deaths in NYS nursing homes which resulted in him returning his cherished Emmy Award.

NYC Mayor Zohran Mamdani (D) pledged that he would order the NYPD to arrest ICC-indicted war criminal Benjamin Netanyahu should he step into NYC jurisdiction. NYPD detectives would take the INTERPOL Red Notice for Netanyahu which is diffused into the NCIC/NLETS system to a judge who would then issue a bench warrant for his arrest in accordance with international law. If NYPD detectives go to a federal judge, the same process applies, except the US Marshal Service or other federal agencies would then effect the arrest should the magistrate sign the bench warrant.

Mayor Mamdani pledged the same treatment would apply to ICC-indicted war criminal Russia President Vladimir Putin. Canada PM Mark Carney also stated he would order the arrest of these two international malefactors should they step foot onto Canadian soil in accordance with international law.

On 12 March 2025 in Albany NY, then-NYS Assemblyman and NYC mayoral candidate Zohran Mamdani shouted at the repugnant Tom Homan, "border czar," over the Trumpf junta's inhumane crackdown on illegal immigration and the unlawful detention of Mahmoud Khalil, a Columbia University graduate student and pro-Palestinian Samaritan.

"How many more New Yorkers will you detain? How many more New Yorkers without charge?" the Bronx High School of Science yelled.

"Do you believe in the First Amendment, Tom Homan?"

Zohran said the obnoxious lickspittle Homan smirked at him when confronted.

Below, wafer-thin Zohran Mamdani tries to get past burly New York State police troopers while rebuking the cheap fascist who took a tawdry $50,000 bribe from someone seeking a contract with the Trumpf junta. (Albany, 12 March 2025)

Principle, character, and morality matter.

Here's what I find amazing, not that I blame Mamdani....

But ....

New York City's budget is bigger than Florida State's budget, and 40% of it is going to the Department of Education.

But here is the kicker enrollment in NYC public schools fell by nearly 200,000 students from 2018-19 to 2023-2024.
Currently its at its lowest level of students since the 1950's.

Seems like we got a cat fight .....

Mayor Zohran Mamdani says property taxes will require a 9.5% hike across NYC. In order to make up for Gov. Kathy Hochul's refusal to hike taxes on NY's wealthy!

Wow....

rut roh....

"You're going to force people out of their homes," Queens Borough President Donovan Richards says of Mamdani's ultimatum option of raising property taxes to fill budget gap.

"New York City's budget is bigger than Florida State's budget"

Florida produces 1.7 Trillion of GDP, and doesn't have to connect everything via subway.

NYC alone produces 1.3 Trillion of GDP, and a sizable part of that city is underground.

Your surprise is based on your current knowledge.
