Raging at Media, Pete Hegseth Just Said the Quiet Part Out Loud
Greg Sargent: He wants "patriotic" coverage of the Iran war. He doesn't understand: In a democracy, coverage that asks difficult questions of the government is itself "patriotic."

Dissent,that's Treason to Him.
Open Protest is Evil. Any deviation from the Narrative is Giving "aid" to the "Enemy".

"Mideast War Intensifies" is a neutral headline. It is factual. It is appropriate for news both from a reporting and editorial standpoint. A story like that is NOT an editorial it is a factual statement. The intensity of a conflict can be objectively measured i.e. we are flying more sorties today than yesterday
"Iran Increasingly Desperate" is an editorial headline. It is not based on facts or more accurately put; it would require far more supporting facts to justify. Desperation is a state of mind. What acts or statements by Iran indicate increasing desperation? That headline is more appropriate for an editorial headline where opinion on the state of mind of the Iranian leaders has to be inferred from other actions and requires a bit of mind reading.
As an aside it is unclear who the title even refers to. That headline is needless unclear-Iran government, Iran people, Iran military, Iran Opposition-WHO is increasingly desperate.
Hegseth was a "journalist" or at least a news host and would understand the basics of journalism.
Of course all of that is immaterial as to why the ---- the Secretary of Defense is worried about news headlines in the middle of a ------- war.
These people are not serious These people are lying to us.
Thanks magat scum

I have long ago, given up on our MSM being reliable for news. They are all worried about their bottom line that Turnip threatens them with in the form of a lawsuit. Face it, our news is no longer worth hearing mainly because it's starting to be all slanted one way. Hegseth is a prime example of why it's no longer trustworthy.

I'm so hoping that the next Dem administration will arrest him, and extradite him and any commander who followed or gave illegal orders to the Hague to face prosecution for war crimes. There has to be accountability or it will happen again. Every single one of Dotard, Kegsbreath, Blondie, ICE Barbie, Hoebag, Bovino, Patel, etc. MUST FACE ACCOUNTABILITY, they must be prosecuted for any and all crimes against the American people, immigrants, and in some cases for war crimes.

"The sooner David Ellison takes over that network [CNN], the better."
These pieces of s*&^ can't even hide it themselves anymore.
They know they only continue to exist in positions of power if reality is not accurately assessed by the rest of us.
