The CDC has paused testing for rabies and pox viruses, the family of viruses that includes smallpox and mpox -- and by July will have no experts to advise states on clinical aspects of the diseases Gift link: www.nytimes.com/2026/04/01/h ...

The CDC typically confirms infectious diseases for state and local public health laboratories that are not equipped to conduct them.
DOGE cuts, layoffs, and hiring freezes have crippled the CDC. Many researchers have departed for greener pastures, either to universities, overseas, or to local or state public health agencies.

By July, the CDC rabies team will be down to just one person with the clinical expertise to advise state and local officials and the pox virus team will have none.

Good-for-nothing James O'Neill, the Acting Director of the CDC, has no medical background whatsoever and once worked for nefarious mega-oligarch Peter Thiel.

Recall that immediately after seizing power on 20 Jan 2025, besides pardoning 1,500 degenerate misfits that viciously attacked the US Capitol on 6 Jan 2021, Dummkopf Trumpf withdrew the US from the World Health Organization (WHO).

52 US Senators confirmed this madman to be Secretary of Health and Human Services (HHS).

There's something darkly insane about these people. Either that, or someone is paying them to hurt us. Which would confirm that darkly insane thing.

I mean, seriously. Were all these people dropped on their heads as children? Is there any god-damned serious issue that they don't approach ass-backwards? This contrarian idiocy bespeaks a hatred of authority when, of course, they are the authority figures. It translates into an opposition to actual civilization.

They obviously want us sick, and they obviously want us poor. They obviously want us humiliated in the eyes of the world. If they are not somehow getting paid for this destruction, I am at a loss to explain it.

"If you don't test, the cases go down."

This is the stupidest ------- administration in history.

Bar none.

The only thing worse than this one is a third term of this --------.

Our illnesses, sicknesses, gunshot wounds, or poor teeth from no fluoride in the water (Florida, Utah) is just pure profit for America's greedy privatized healthcare system.

All countries with universal healthcare for their residents do the exact opposite of the US because they want their populations healthy so as not to drain their national treasuries.

A veteran told me that after the Second World War, some POWs and Displaced Persons (DPs) held in German or Austrian lagers decided to stay in Austria or Germany because every month local physicians or nurses would come by and treat the wounded or sick, and provide dental care and vaccinations. No cost to the POWs or DPs. The lagers were well maintained and clean.

When the post-war agreements were finally settled, the lagers were closed and the DPs had a few choices to emigrate to (e.g. the US, UK, Canada, or anywhere non-USSR). .

But one DP said, "If they let me, I'll stay here in Austria," and he did.

Prior to that, captured Russian soldiers from the Russo-Japanese War (1904-05) were shipped to Japan for interment.

After the brief war, some of these Russian POWs decided to stay in Japan because they were well treated and the hygiene protocols and gentility were superior to the "Cossackish" and brutal life they left behind in Tsarist Russia.

Kobe Japan grew more as a "gaijin" entrepot and those Russians that adapted Japanese ways prospered: onlinelibrary.wiley.com

You don't have to believe in God to believe in the Devil.

[shaking my head]
I never thought in my lifetime I would see both such utterly depraved, incompetent leaders AND a huge number of people who reflexively and blindly approve of them with no critical thought.

So the Centers for Disease Control and Protection is no longer going to control and protect? MAHA!

someone is paying them to hurt us.

Yea. It's Putin.

He's been funding the GOP through the NRA and personally helped get Trump elected.
