Tom Nichols: His address raised more questions than it answered about the war in Iran.

Trump has the crappiest speechwriting I've seen from a White House, but also, try to imagine trying to write a speech for that guy

Trump rushed through this speech. The words ran into one another in a continuous drone.

I think that someone told him how to do it. I also think that in the event, no one had any real idea of what he should say.

The speech was just thirty more minutes of Donald wanting to capture everyone's attention.

Again.

You could almost see Stephen Miller's puppet hand moving underneath the back of Trump's jacket.
And Netanyahu's puppet hand underneath Miller's.
And Satan's puppet hand underneath Netanyahu's.

"We wanna God bless those four...number one state sponsor of Tara"

... Maybe Trump Should Not Have Given This Speech ...

I think that it was good he gave the speech.

The speech and its presentation looked to me to be just more evidence of a possible deterioration of Pres Trump.

Let him talk. Maybe, just maybe, people on the fence will finally see he does not give a hoot about them or the country. To come out and say the US can't be bothered to cover medicaid, medicare, childcare, etc. is really eye opening. I mean, he is literally saying the Republican playbook out loud. I'm sure they really don't want him to do that. Will average Americans listen? Sadly, I have my doubts.

The most shocking speech I have heard in many years, from a moral standpoint (and from a "quality-of-speech" standpoint). And the4 Evangelicals think God anointed him? Hell no, they do not think that.
They made a deal with the devil to support him no matter what, as long as they got their anti-abortion SCOTUS picks.

Imagine that. A country run on quid pro quo to the lowest common denominators: Evangelicals and Trump. That is where we are as our economy is about to be flushed down the drain.

Maybe he should not have raped children thirty years ago

Maybe he should not have foolishly started the war in Iran with a drunk rapist in charge of the DOD.
