"New guidance for the program de-emphasizes contraception, citing overprescription, and negative side effects. The changes are seen as an attempt to appease the radical anti-abortion wing of the Republican party. Faux Christian anti-abortion misfits are calling for Planned Parenthood to be permanently ineligible for Title X funding."

It is all about votes...and has been pretty much from day one. If a group votes for Trump and his gang, they get funding no matter the idiocy they support, but if it is apparent that the members of that group are not MAGA, then Trump defunds them, or makes their lives miserable in other ways...he is not in service to America, he sees the Presidency as being CEO of a private company for his profit.

It's rough that millions won't be able to go to a store to buy condoms but the bigger story here is that apparently millions won't be able to get to the store to buy food either.
