Report: Iran Charges Crypto and Yuan Tolls for Strait of Hormuz Oil Tanker Passage news.bitcoin.com
Key Takeaways: Iran's IRGC began charging ships up to $2 million per tanker to transit the Strait of Hormuz as of April 2026. The Financial Times reports Iran is accepting stablecoins and bitcoin. Iran's National Security Committee approved a bill formalizing yuan and stablecoin tolls, accelerating dollar bypass in energy trade. The ceasefire brokered by President Trump remains fragile, and Western-linked vessels are still largely excluded from approved passage.

Thats stupid.
Crypto is now owned, controlled and manipulated by the financial markets/industry.
Anywhere you can buy a derivative is an indicator of manipulation, because there is no true price discovery.

And Der Dotard will try to squeeze his huge posterior into the deal, with 49% going to his Bored of Piece boondoggle. Trump will gladly trade the world for more personal wealth. He cares little for this tax on the world's oil, so long as he gets to wet his beak.
Meanwhile, in the real world, Der Dotard's inability to think clearly or negotiate more than lunch is causing the world economy to whipsaw, with no way out of this dumpster fire...

Let's recap....
Iran punched dumbkopf in the nose and brought America to it's knees in a month.
Exposed the demented orange pedo as a paper tiger.
Did not give up any uranium.
Did not promise to not build weapons.
The US is now a laughingstock in the eyes of the world.
Iran will collect $100,000,000,000 in tolls from the shipping companies who will pass it along to the consumers.
Putin is laughing all the way to the bank after getting his sanctions lifted, supplying Iran and bringing America to it's knees.
I couldn't imagine a better scenario for Putin.
The US is a joke.
