"Iran stated that its absence from the second round of talks stems from what it called Washington's excessive demands, unrealistic expectations, constant shifts in stance, repeated contradictions, and the ongoing naval blockade, which it considers a breach of the ceasefire," the IRNA said.

So we get multiple conflicting reports, including from Trump himself, that Vance is or is not leading the US delegation for peace talks on Tuesday, then we get multiple reports from Iran state media that they have no plans to attend peace talks on Tues & didn't know about it.

Earlier on Sunday, US President Donald Trump said that Iran has committed a "serious violation" of the ceasefire, but still thinks he can get a peace deal, ABC News reporter Jonathan Karl posted on X/Twitter.

On Sunday afternoon, Trump told Axios that he is optimistic about the talks with Iran. "I feel fine about it. The concept of the deal is done. I think we have a very good chance to get it completed," he said."

Iran rebuffs Trump announcement of new peace talks, state news agency reports
www.reuters.com

... Iran rejected new peace talks with the United States, its state news agency reported on Sunday, hours after U.S. President Donald Trump had said he was sending envoys to Pakistan for talks and would strike Iran unless it accepted his terms.

Trump posted on Truth Social that his envoys would arrive on Monday evening for negotiations, a timetable that would leave only a day for talks to make progress before a two-week ceasefire ends.

"We're offering a very fair and reasonable DEAL, and I hope they take it because, if they don't, the United States is going to knock out every single Power Plant, and every single Bridge, in Iran," he wrote. "NO MORE MR. NICE GUY!"

Iran's official IRNA news agency cited no specific source in its report that Iran had rejected the talks.

"Iran stated that its absence from the second round of talks stems from what it called Washington's excessive demands, unrealistic expectations, constant shifts in stance, repeated contradictions, and the ongoing naval blockade, which it considers a breach of the ceasefire," IRNA wrote. ...

The two main negotiators for Pres Trump with Iran are Mr Witkoff and Mr Kushner.

How successful have those two been in prior peace negotiations?

How many times have they been to Moscow about Pres Putin's unprovoked invasion of Ukraine?

Did that invasion end on day one of Pres Trump's second term?

My elected Representative did not get a chance to vote on this war.

Trump did it all on his own.

He's not the United States.

So eff you very much.
