Rep. Ralph Norman (R-SC) said on Thursday that the January 6 insurrection was "made up," claiming that the event was "staged" by those who opposed President Donald Trump.

Yes, and all of those people were paid actors, like the ones standing on the mezzanine of Trump Tower in 2015, wearing Trump T-shirts, when Trump and Melania descended the gold escalator before he announced his candidacy for president. And in his case, they actually were actors who had responded to a 'casting call' and were paid $50 each to wave and cheer for the cameras as Trump was going down the escalator.

Parts of the Deep South, NC, SC, Alabama, for example, clearly are about electing politicians with their heads in the last century, maybe 1950 or so.
No, unfortunately, Jan. 6. wasn't staged, it was an example of what Berlin looked like when Hitler strode about...people cheering wildly and the rule of law ignored.

If something as huge as J6 could be staged, I am not sure why anyone rebels at the notion that the Butler "assassination" was staged.
