Trump's decision to attend the games caused increased security checks for fans, cancelled any watch party plans in the area due to 10 square blocks of Midtown Manhattan being shut down.

Philly fans booed Santa Claus. This is better.

New Yorkers know Trump more than anyone. Even the ones who can afford the NBA finals seats. Maybe especially them.

I've said this before. I'm a native New Yorker. My father's favorite Democrat was George Wallace, and my (2nd) stepmother was in commercial real estate in Manhattan in the 1980s. She was tough as hell.

My father was also an intense big-money gambler, so spent more than a bit of time losing money in Atlantic City, with the expected results.

My dad died in 2015. Hated Democrats, hated especially the Clintons, but 2015 comes around and his tune is a little different. I suspect both my father and stepmother had interactions with or had gotten close enough to Trump during their life.
