We need to remember this situation, that our nation is dealing with, is due entirely because the Republican Party has put their greed and thirst for power ahead of the welfare and security of the nation. It isn't politics in the normal sense that we've all witnessed all our lives. They have already committed a coup successfully while we're screaming at them:"You're not following the rules laid out in the Constitution!" As if they don't already know that but are just laughing because they have all the power and we are basicly powerless. The biggest power grab was the Supreme Court; we have regular elections to change Congress, like the coming midterm elections, but the Court has lifetime appointments so it's very difficult to pull power back from corrupt Justices who act as Monarchs, with impunity an insulated from the people and we should never forget that there is and always has been a belief among the elite of this nation that a country like ours cannot be successful if truly run "by the people, for the people and of the people." Oh they will mouth those words but they are snickering when they do. Just read a few of Elon Musk's arrogant comments.
